A left-arm medium-pacer, Luke Wood brings a versatile skill set built around swing, angles and clever variations. He is particularly effective against right-handers, shaping the ball back into them, and has added slower balls and change-ups to remain effective across phases. A regular across global T20 leagues, Wood has featured in over 200 matches, gaining valuable experience in different conditions. He has also represented England, playing three ODIs and 16 T20Is, picking up a total of 20 international wickets. Wood had a brief stint in the TATA IPL with Mumbai Indians in 2024, featuring in two matches as a replacement player. For the 2026 TATA IPL, Gujarat Titans secured him for INR 75 Lakh, adding a left-arm option with variety to their pace attack.
